正确应对贸易摩擦   共建企业社会责任

各有关单位：
        随着中国经济持续强劲增长,中欧经贸合作蕴藏着巨大的商机和发展潜力,2007年1-11月，中欧双边贸易额达3220亿美元，截至2007年11月，中国从欧盟引进技术合同金额1085亿美元，欧盟对华实际投资568亿美元。欧盟继续保持为中国第一大贸易伙伴、累计第一大技术供应方和累计第四大投资来源地。
11月28日,第十次中欧领导人会晤在北京成功举行。为落实中欧领导人会晤共识，推动中欧经贸向纵深发展，共商合作大计，同时为更好地促进中外企业和谐发展，商务部欧洲司将联合多家欧洲在华商会、协会，于2008年4月18--19日在京举办 “中欧企业与商会国际论坛”，为中外企业搭建交流互动的直接平台。旨在联合发挥商协会、社会团体的服务作用，诠释中欧经济发展趋势，帮助中外企业提高自身创新能力，加强国际事务中的“中国制造”形象，积极协助企业解决合作中的问题, 为中外企业提供平等竞争的商业环境。
       在此次会议上，中外企业将提出如下倡议：“正确对待中国制造”，“坚持对话与合作，增进互信与互利”。
       本论坛由商务部欧洲司、荷兰中国商会等驻华外国商会和欧洲各国在华商会、协会共同发起，北京世纪荷中投资咨询有限公司执行。

Deal with trade frictions correctly
Build companies ' social responsibility together

All organizations concerned:

The rapidly increasing Chinese economy means boundless opportunities and development potentials for the European-Chinese economic and trade cooperation. European-Chinese bilateral trade volume has been USD 322 billion from January to November, 2007.  China has imported USD108.5 billion worth of technique from EU in contract, and EU has invested USD56.8 billion in China actually by the end of November, 2007. EU continues to keep as China's largest trading partner,  largest technology supplier and fourth largest investment source on an accumulative basis.

The 10th meeting between European and Chinese leaders was held successfully on November 28th,2007. In order to put their agreement into effect, promote the further development of European-Chinese economy and trade, discuss the cooperation plan together and promote Chinese and foreign companies to develop harmoniously, the Ministry of Commerce of PRC Department of European Affairs joint with many European chambers of commerce and associations in China will hold the European-Chinese Companies and Chambers of Commerce Forum(ECCCF) in Beijing on April 18th -19th ,2008.This forum will build the direct interaction and exchange platform for both Chinese and foreign companies and chambers of commerce and aims to give full play to community groups, chambers of commerce and service organizations, indicate the development  trend of European and Chinese economy, help Chinese and foreign companies to improve their own innovative ability, enhance the "Made in China" image in international affairs, assist companies to solve problems in cooperation actively and  provide Chinese and foreign companies with equally competitive business environment.

At this forum, Chinese and foreign companies will propose following initiatives:
Deal with “Made in China” correctly.
Insist on dialogue and cooperation, enhance mutual trust and benefit.

This forum is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of PRC Department of European Affairs, European Union Chamber of Commerce in China and other foreign chambers of commerce in China, European associations and chambers of commerce in China, hosted by Beijing Dutch-Chinese Century Investment Advisory Co.
